I’ve been a fan of Jim C. Hines’ blog since before I’d read his books as well. Another great blog, by an author whose books I’ve never read, is John Scalzi’s Whatever blog. It’s ecclectic and sometimes informative, and always entertaining. And it’s proof that having a great author blog can actually bring new readers in, in addition to keeping in contact with current fans–because he’s on my to-read list based soley on his blog. (Jim C. Hines’ blog also played a big part in my finally reading his books as well.)
