That’s a nice review- I was a big fan of this book and just finished _Year of the Horse_, too, and really liked it. If anything it’s even better.

This sounds so cool! I was just thinking about how fun it would be to write a bronze age novel after watching a History Channel special that looked at the hanging gardens of Babylon. And his next novel is about Chinese Americans in the west? I’m so going to have to read that! I’ve been looking for books about Chinese Americans as research for Immigrant Moon.

The ancient-world African setting is appealing. Too many parts of the world (and skin colors) get overlooked too often.
