I find it a great review tool: I’ve got an app ment for writing lists/notes/memos (got vid playing on it atm so I’m not checking what it’s called). However, discovered that if I have it open while I’m reading a book, its really easy to type up (at a reasonable pace) ideas which I get while reading the book. 1 book later…and I’ve practically got my entire book review written (barring switching paragraphs around and very interesting typos).

Will have to keep investigating an app for open office. Every year at work there is a fab deal on MS OFfice…I may have to get it this year, because I think a lot of agents/publishers work with MS Office. I do like it – just managed not to have it on my latest laptop (and refuse to pay the horrendous price for it until I can get discount).

Ok, now I have a lot of apps to look up. And iPitchPipe almost makes me wish I got a version with a microphone . . . but I have an electronic pitch meter in my piano bench, so I guess I don’t really need it.

Oh! Oh! I’ve had mine for a year and it’s my BFF. I do have some music, and one film on it. I’m so impressed that you use it for editing. My fingers are too big….

Favorite apps: Wikipanion, Dictionary, Flixster, Tweetdeck (awesome), iClouds, Chicktionary, Solebon, Candy Match, Shopper, Touch Physics, Castle (love throwing those little guys over the wall). I also have a Voiceboard for memos, but I haven’t used it yet. And I got the iPitchPipe for when I take my son’s class to vocal competitions. I’m an addict–can you tell?!

I’m fairly sure Docs to Go supports a wide range of document types. The App Store entry for Docs to Go should have all the details.

I adore my iPod Touch in an almost unhealthy way… I bought a non-branded Touch/iPhone charger from eBay for under £5 and it’s absolutely fine. Have a look!

This is perfect timing because I’m getting one on Friday (person is getting upgrade so I get the old one ).

Is the Docs to Go only for MS word? I use openoffice…so I’m hoping that there might be an OO app.

The planets is cool – I don’t stargaze but I like astronomy and had great fun with this.

I will be using mine for music – I like how I can have the music playing and use other apps.

Looking forward to playing with it!
