Tia, thank you so much for your great review. I do feel honored that you would pick “Call of the Sea Gypsies” as one of the first e-books to review. I’m glad you liked the story and didn’t guess the ending in advance. I must add that Cobblestone Press is a very author-friendly publisher, one I’m proud to be writing for.

SMF was my first published work, but not the first completed. That would be The Rose of Shanhasson, which Drollerie released several months later and I’m thrilled to say is now available in print.

Yes, I’ve definitely been very happy with Drollerie Press. If you’re looking for genre-blends, the weird, the fantastical, then definitely take a look at Drollerie. I haven’t picked up a single book from them that I didn’t love. I really enjoyed The Chocolatier’s Wife and Faerie Blood. Bonus: gorgeous covers!

I just kept thinking I would have read faster if I had it in print. I would hesitate to tackle a full-length novel, but novellas like yours are perfect.

I wondered if Survive My Fire was your first! From the outside looking in, Drollerie Press appears to do a fantastic job.

Tia, thanks so much for taking the time to write up a review and to give ebooks a shot! I’m sorry reading on your iPod didn’t work better for you. I like to read on my iPhone, but shorter works are definitely easier for me to handle (I tend to read in short bursts, waiting in line, etc.) Survive My Fire was truly my debut, so I’m honored to be reviewed here!
